Shipping Wonders of the World - 2 Volumes

A complete set of the popular naval weekly magazine 'Shipping Wonders of the World', a beautifully illustrated work with many colourful plates. These appear to be complete in two volumes, comprising of fifty-five parts. Both volumes are profusely illustrated throughout, including sixteen colour plates to Volume I and fifteen colour plates to Volume II, and many monochrome illustrations to each volume. The magazine was published in an interesting era, as it just predates the Second World War, and looks at the naval powers of the world in this interwar era. Edited by Clarence Winchester, with the consulting editors A. C. Hardy and Frank C. Bowen.
