Kitchen Sink - Richard Till's Collected Sunday Star Times Columns
Over recent years Richard Till's pleasure in cooking, talking and writing about good old-fashioned Kiwi tucker, the kind of food that so many of us grew up with, has resulted in two series of Kiwi Kitchen (the popular television programme), a best-selling book based on that programme, and in October 2009 a second book, Richard Till Makes It Easy. Now there's another book, just in time for Mother's Day 2010. This latest one features more than 70 of his Sunday Star-Times columns that have been a regular feature of the 'Escape' section of the paper since mid-2008. Aptly titled Kitchen Sink, the collected columns cover a wide range of topics relating to how and what we eat. They're written in Till's inimitable style, and most of them finish with a recipe related to the subject. All up, Kitchen Sink addresses what more and more Kiwis are discovering for themselves - that cooking can be fun as well as serving a practical purpose.
