Binding tight in both volumes. Some foxing throughout, heavy to prelims of volume 1. Folding frontispiece and folding map in volume 1 both pretty good with only a minor tear and foxing to each. Nice first edition set. Previously owned by Geo Macmorran, a prominent Wellington educationalist, whose name is on the front e/p of volume 1.
