A.H. & A.W. Reed, Wellington, 1954. Hardback with DW in good condition. Some staining to the edges of the boards. DW has some foxing and general age discolouration.
The Dillon letters tell the story of Constantine and Fanny Dillon and their growing family. They farmed in the Waimea and he served as Civil and Military Secretary to Sir George Grey, so was well suited to comment on demestic and political affairs during a critical period in the development of the Colony. Illustrated by little-known contemporary prints and portraits.
