Created in celebration of Volunteer Service Abroad's 40th anniversary, this collection of stunning photography depicts the international experiences of young New Zealanders participating in the organization.

Here, eight leading photographers capture VSA work in context through more than 350 color photographs. The land, the people, their needs, and the work of New Zealand volunteers are documented in 14 countries. The ideals that drive the volunteers are recorded in prose and photography.
