This is a highly illustrated book of NZ Woman's Weekly's 70 years using photographs, graphics, printed ephemera, drawings etc from the NZWW archives and presented in themes such as fashion and cooking (rather than chronologically). As the longest running magazine for women in this country, NZWW has recorded the changing face of NZ society for the best part of a century. The NZ Woman's Weekly 70th Anniversary book will encapsulate for today's reader, aspects of NZ life that were seen and experienced by their mothers and grandmothers. A fascinating look at the interests of New Zealand women during this period, this book focusses on the famous and the not-so-famous; includes both exciting and ordinary events; reveals good times and sad times, and reflects many of the influences that have helped shape life today.
