Michael Joseph, London, 1960. First edition, 4th impression. Green boards with silver titles on spine. Boards have some mottling and a few white marks. Corners and spine ends are bumped. Binding is tight. No inscriptions. Scattered foxing throughout and to page edges. Some of the text blocks have aged differently due to different paper being used in production. The foxing is also more noticeable on some sections. On pages 18 & 19 the pages have been stuck together in a small part and on separation, have caused damage to a word on each page. Dust jacket has been clipped but price is still visible at 15s net. There are a couple of closed tears to the bottom edge and a small hole to the forward fold. Some general age discolouration. Nice copy of an early edition of this sf classic.
