Kevin Wilkey has been the Chief Flying Instructor at the Marlborough Aero Club for the past 16 years. During that time he has contributed a monthly article to the Club's newsletter, the MAC Flyer. His articles have been enormously enjoyed by the membership, as much by the wives as the pilots, and for years Kevin has been urged to write a book. Laughter in the Sky: Confessions of a Flying Instructor is a collection of 60 short stories. Through the stories Kevin expounds his views on cars, cats, travel, politics, bureaucracy, and - of course - flying. There is lots here for everyone to enjoy, whether you are a car enthusiast, have a passion for planes, or simply enjoy a good story. This is not just another aviation book. This book will have wide appeal. Kevin has a very easy writing style and a great sense of humour which pervades the book. His writing reflects life in Marlborough from the 1960s to the present day. This book will make you laugh, make you think, and - on occasion - bring a tear to your eye. If you love humanity, you will love this book.
