BB's Fairy Book - Meeting Hill

Hollis & Carter, London, 1948. First edition. Original cloth has silver titles on front and spine which is sunned. Some spotting and bumping along top edge. Corners and spine ends are bumped, spine ends are faded. Old bookseller plate on front paste-down and this has caused a mark opposite it on front e/p. Rusty mark from old paperclip on side of front e/p. No inscriptions. Binding tight. Some age-discolouration of e/p's and page edges. 15 colour plates in beautiful condition. Dust jacket is not price clipped. Spine is darkened and there is minor chipping at corners and spine ends. Small tears and very minor absence at top of spine. Some age-discolouration and a rusty mark from paperclip on front fold-in. Nice copy of this scarce title.
