Early Wellington - signed copy

Whitcombe and Tombs, 1929. Green speckled cloth with tiltles in black on front and spine. Boards have some fading. Preface and INtroduction at front of book indicate 1928 but there is a reference on page 354 to February 1929. Corners and spine ends are bumped. Binding is strong. Previous owner's name on front e/p. This copy is signed by Louis ward on the front e/p, dated 7/9/29. Rear e/p's have some foxing. Contents otherwise tight and clean. Map is present in rear pocket. It has some splitting to creases. Dust jacket is delicate with some splitting at creases. There are absences to spine ends and corners. Nice signed copy.
