Warbirds over Wanaka '94

Inaugrated by Tim Wallis in 1988, Warbirds over Wanaka is a unique biennial event, drawing enthusiasts from all over the country. The '94 show was no exception, and over 65,000 people came to see the Spitfires and Mustangs, the Corsair and the Kittyhawk - and all the other splendid old World War II aircraft - come alive again.

Along with 250 vivid full-colour photographs, WARBIRDS OVER WANAKA '94 includes a foreword by Tim Wallis, an introductory text by Prue Wallis, and detailed notes by Ian Brodie on the aircraft featured in the airshow.

This is a permanent pictorial record of an unforgettable event.
