Description

This edition of Platform Papers introduced by Richard Eyre, contains transcipts of a Platform given by Peter Brook in November 1993, an interview with Jean-Guy Lecat, space finder for Brook's productions, and an address given by Peter Brook to an invited audience in May 1994 while The Man Who was playing in Cottlesloe.
Platforms are the National's programme of early evening talks, interviews and discussions which expand upon - or add background detail to - its repertoire and to current events in the arts. They give direct access to the personalities involved and usually include questions and comment from the audience.
Platform Papers are transcripts of two or three related discussions collected together. They provide a record of the events for closer study.
