This enjoyable book, of Fijian origin, includes dishes from the Pacific Islands, Africa, Indonesia, North and South America, and great care has been taken to keep them authentic, but most of the 300 recipes can be used outside the tropic zone with some deft substitution (the text gives suggestions).
