Although ungainly-looking, this medium-range transport gave sterling service to the RAF from the mid-50's to the late 60's, with 30, 47 and 53 Squadrons in Transport Command, 84 Squadron in the Middle East and 34 Squadron in the Far East.
The author is an ex Bev crew member and his authoritative account laced with personal reminiscences from other ex Bev crews will bring back memories to RAF and Army personnel who cam to respect the Beverley. from the blurb
