Bob Norman is a former Commissioner of Works and a Past President and Distinguished Fellow of the Institution of Professional Engineers, New Zealand. A lover of poetry and literature, he made the use of verse and parable in many official documents, public speeches and personal letters. This small volume is a selection from these, taken over a period of the last forty years.
