Gallipoli as I Saw It

William Kimber, London, 1965. Tan cloth with gilt titles on spine. Boards are in very tidy condition. Contents are tight with no inscriptions. There is however, quite heavy foxing to the page edges and this has spread to some of the pages too, particularly at the beginning and end of the book. Dust jacket is good, again with some foxing visible internally and to the titles. It has been price clipped and covered.
This book is based on the actual diary and letters home of Joseph Murray, a Scots miner who served as a naval rating turned soldier in Hood Battalion of the Royal Naval Division during the Gallipoli campaign.
