Outdoors in New Zealand
New Holland Publishers, 2002. Fading to spine, good secondhand condition.
In compiling this collection of stories (taken from his regular 'Outdoors' column in the New Zealand Herald), journalist Colin Moore has just one aim: to inspire as many Kiwis as possible to get outside and into some outdoor adventures of their own. Outdoors in New Zealand has five major outdoor themes: Bushed; Paddling Pleasures; You're Never Too Young; Any Means to an End; and Southern Sojourns. Each of these themes is explored in a lyrical but highly readable style as well as being full of exciting ideas for what to do and where to do it, whether it's tramping, kayaking, skiing, climbing, mountain-biking, fishing or any one of a whole lot of other outdoor-based activities.
