Murder with Malice Aforethought

Most People enjoy a good murder story, although some fictional stories, no matter how well written, can leave the reader unsatisfied.
A fictional story is just that. The expression 'Malice Aforethought' is an old term for the evil intent (malice) of the murderer's premeditation (aforethought). It is the malice aforethought that is so interesting and intriguing to the outside oberver. What goes on in someone's mind for them to decide to take the life of another human being and to think they are clever enough to get away with it?
This book tells a dozen such true stories, one of which the Crewe murders, has never been satisfactorily resolved and has remained one of New Zealand's most enduring and intriguing enigmas for over forty years.
