Photographer Fay Looney captures the essence of New Zealand heartland rugby in an evocative journey through the lens. Goalposts frame the scenic landscape, from the sun-drenched East Cape to windswept West Coast playing fields, from the hard pitches of the volcanic central plateau to the majestic views of mountains in the South Island. Fay's images are inspired by a passion for the game and well-known sports writer Phil Gifford adds his expert take on the rugby personalities, the sports grounds - and the goalposts.
