Schuver left Cairo late in 1880, travelling up the Blue Nile and spending almost 2 years in the hills of the Upper Blue Nile and the eastern watershed of the White Nile basin. He was murdered there in 1883. This volume is the first English account of his travels n Africa, drawing on his original manuscripts, other drafts and letters. Blue cloth with gilt decoration on front and lettering on spine. Book and dust jacket in very good condition with booksellers stamp on rear e/p and plastic cover to protect dust jacket.
