Women, Science and Medicine 1500-1700. Mothers and Sisters of the Royal Society

From 1500 to 1700, women made a substantial contribution to the development of science, medicine, technology and the philosophy of ideas. The contributors provide studies on women in science and medicine, and explore methodologies for women's history.
