African Experience - Story of an RNZAF Ferry Pilot

An interesting and well-written story about ferrying aircraft in World War II across North Africa. The distance involved was some 3800 miles and could mean some 23 hours flying over 6 days or so. The task was not without its problems and casualties and included short range aircraft such as Hurricanes and Spitfires as well as twin engined.
