Joyce Grenfell wrote two volumes of autobiography, Joyce Grenfell Requests the Pleasure and In Pleasant Places James Roose-Evans is best known for his work in the theatre, including the one woman revue Re: Joyce which starred Maureen Lipman as Grenfell.
