Laid in is an announcement of a gallery show by Sir William Russell Flint, at the Kennedy Galleries in NY, December 1952 (reproductions of A Party of Five: The Bathers and Miranda Posing and a list of artworks available). Paper on the books is slightly browning. The dustjacket has a two-inch closed tear at the upper front edge of the spine and a stain that looks as if someone put a glass on the lower right edge of the front panel. Previous owner's very small signature on the half-title page.
