Whitcombe and Tombs, Christchurch, 1908. Maroon leather with gilt embossing on boards and spine and gilt titles on green label on spine. Very tidy externally. Marbled e/p's and page edges. Binding tight. Front page between e/p and title page has been removed. Foxing of prelims and page edges. Latin quotation on title page has been neatly translated in pen below. Nice copy.
