Beautiful red cloth with embossed illustration of elves, bells and words in black on front. Gilt on spine which is very faded as are top and spine edges of front and rear boards. Decorative e/p's and title page. 7 beautiful colour illustrations backed on brown pages. 138pp. Mild foxing throughout. Previous owners name (dated 1920) and F. D/C in ink on front e/p. Also old bookseller's sticker on front paste down. Binding tight. A very nice copy.
