This book contains more than 200 entries on important historical and cultural figures, as well as some less well known individuals in Egypt's long history (c3100 BC - c AD 600). Not only are rulers and members of their families listed, but also other significant figures who had particularly impressive or interesting tombs (Cheops, Tutankhamun), who showed great military prowess (Sethos I, Ramesses II) , or who had special literary or other skills (Ipuwer, Manetho).
