George Robertson & Echo Publishing, Melbourne, 1897. 32pp brochure including Lord Brassey's account of his trip to New Zealand in 1896/1897. Also the transcript of his speech Imperial Federation and Defence to the Navy League in Christchurch, 29th January, 1897. It is illustrated with a folding chart showing the route taken and a picture of the famous yacht. The card covers have some foxing. At the top of the front cover with Lord Brassey's compliments is handwritten. Single rusty staple and broken cord binding which is holding. Folding chart has some foxing but is in good order. Included is a copy of a newspaper review of the book (The Press Friday, July 2, 1897). Book has a no-touch plastic cover.
