Get Used to It! Children of gay and lesbian parents

This collection of illustrated interviews with people who grew up with a lesbian or gay parent is a first of its kind. To the sixteen people in this book there is no mystery or contradiction about the arrangment: it is simply a fact of their lives. Author Pat Rosier has encouraged them to tell this in their own words, and Myra Hauschild's photographs provide the visual component. Overall the book suggests that what matters most to children has little to do with their parents' sexuality, and more to do with loving, attentive parenting and adequate living standards.
