A collection of 24 profiles of Maori women. Interviews with the women have been transcribed and photographs illustrate each profile. The subjects include well known women, such as Sandra Lee, Nancy Brunning and Moana Maniapoto-Jackson, as well as students and others whose experiences and achievements indicate changes in Aotearoa. There is an epilogue by Irihapeti Ramsden.
