The Endeavour - A Collector's Souvenir

Built to carry coal from the north of England to London, the original Endeavour was purchased by the Royal Navy for the purposes of exploration. In 1986 the Australian National Maritime Museum proposed the building of a full-scale replica of the Endeavour, which was launched in 1993. She was built as closely as possible to the specifications of the original.
