Q. I wonder which package has the corgi in it ... ?
A. Depends how long the corgi has been wrapped. Could be the smelly one, or the noisy one, or the one inching slowly across the highly polished floor!

And in totally unrelated news to all things Corgi-ish....

We've got our Science Fiction ordering pages up again!

Started with the best of intentions some time ago, they fell by the wayside due to getting waaaay too busy doing pesky silly things like mmm, moving the shop!

So, if you want to find out what's coming our way in Science Fictiony and Fantasy goodness, and you don't want to miss out on a copy of the book you want, sign up now.

Then all you have to do is wait with baited breath for us to contact you and tell you that a copy of your next favourite book is waiting safely behind the counter for you. (Ok so maybe breath occasionally.)

  • Eliminate all possible chances that we may run out before you get your copy!
  • Stimey the staff who want to read your book before you!
  • Sidestep the other sad punters who didn't plan ahead!

Exciting titles coming soon that you could sign up for include:

And in extremely related news...

The first new title from Stephenie Meyer in nearly two years, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner will be in store tomorrow from 4.05 pm!

The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner is a novella told from the point of view of Bree, a character originally featured in Eclipse.
The novella (at 192 pages and with proceeds to earthquake relief in Haiti & Chile) will be released at 4.05pm on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in a limited edition hardcover so be in quick.

(NB We really can't sell you a copy before 4.05pm but if you can't get in, phone or email us and ask nicely and we should be able to hold one for a short time for you.)
